N7786B Polarization Synthesizer
The N7786B is capable of manipulating the polarization state (SOP) as well as stabilizing the SOP to any arbitrary state.
Stabilizing is achieved using the readout of an in-line polarimeter in a feedback loop (see figure). This allows to deterministically move the output SOP to any desired state. It is thus possible to let the SOP move on predefined trajectories.

- Deterministic control of polarization.
- Reset-free polarization stabilization.
- High-speed scrambling.
